Forbes has released its annual list of the 20 highest-earning models, who in total earned $154-million.

Forbes notes that social media has had a significant impact on the list this year, and that the 20 models have a combined Instagram following of 200 million.

What is apparent, however, is that the list is overwhelmingly white in race - statistics that once again reflect the lack of diversity on the catwalks and in advertising campaigns.

THE TOP FIVE

1. Gisele Bündchen

Once again the highest-earning model in the industry, who has made more money than any other model since 2002. Forbes estimates she earns $20-million more than Adriana Lima.

This year Forbes estimates that Jenner's earnings increased by an impressive 150%.

5. Gigi Hadid

The highest-ranking of the six new models on the list made it thanks to campaigns with the likes of Tommy Hilfiger and Maybelline.
